COVID-19 Misinformation Tweets and Network Structures are Highly Similar to Factual Tweets

• The team used network analysis, regression, and dimensionality reduction techniques to predict the veracity of tweets.

• Contributed to text feature extraction to obtain the final datasets for the analysis.

• First place (among 100 teams from 39 universities), awarded the Overleaf Outstanding Science communication award.

Investigating Effects of Climate Change on Atlantic Ocean Hurricanes

• Developed a predictive model for estimation of frequency and intensity of hurricanes based on ocean heat content.
